Staying in Pune

Luxury Hotels

There are multiple five star and luxurious hotels in Pune to choose from. However, if you are booking a luxury hotel, you don’t need our help! 🙂

Semi-Luxury Hotels

A large number of these are clustered in and around the locality of Koregaon Park. Koregaon Park is home to the world-famous German Bakery, Chabad House and Osho Ashram. In addition, it has the most number of pubs and great restaurants than any other place in Pune. In fact, at one point we considered hosting a post WordCamp pub crawl!

High Spirits Cafe
High Spirits Cafe

It’s pretty close to the WordCamp venue, as well. So, if you are looking to make some friends and such, you should try it instead of getting holed up in a five star!

Serviced Apartments

A serviced apartment is a combination of a hotel and an apartment. There’s a kitchen, there’s a drawing room and there are bedrooms. There’s room service and staff to cater to your needs.

Most of these are in or around Koregaon Park. It’s useful if you are a mid-sized group which wants more space and privacy than a hotel room can provide.

Budget Hotels

Starting from ₹400/night, there’s definitely a hotel that’ll fit your budget. In fact, because most websites do not help with hotels that cost less than ₹2000/night, we’ve compiled a list of hotels that may help you out!

Homestay

You could stay with a local family at their home! Great option if you’re not fond of hotel food!

Couchsurfing

There are plenty of hosts in Pune. You could also try the Global Freeloaders. (Interesting name!)
