IdeaSmith is the digital doppelganger of Ramya Pandyan (intrepid train-traveller and frequent spouter of post-midnight rhymes and rants). As IdeaSmith she battles obscurity and slays boredom with her stories about men, books, digitalia and Mumbai. She performs live and also blogs, tweets, Instagrams, Facebooks, +G’s, Youtubes and Goodreads all as IdeaSmith.

Michael Eisenwasser
Michael is a BuddyPress enthusiast, with experience designing and building themes and plugins.
He is co-founder of BuddyBoss, a company that helps entrepreneurs to create successful BuddyPress communities. He previously managed the development and growth of SongLyrics.com, one of the most highly-trafficked websites in the world with over 100 million annual visitors. Raghavendra Peri
Raghavendra is a Digital Accessibility Consultant at Deque Systems. He is also a Digital Marketing Strategist, Speaker, and Blogger & Entrepreneur. At the age of 8, he was diagnosed with a degenerative eye condition called Retinitis pigmentosa that rendered him totally blind at the age of 26.But that did not stop him from pursuing his dreams. Vachan became an entrepreneur in 2002, at 17, when he started his firm KDC (Krazy Devil Creationz). It has grown into a full-fledged web solutions agency. He’s studied architecture and started his second firm KDC Inc in 2006 which provides architecture and interior design solutions. Rahul Bansal
Rahul Bansal is the founder and CEO of rtCamp. He’s been using WordPress since 2007. Starting out as a blogger, he moved on to developing with WordPress within a year. Jitesh Patil
Jitesh is a mobile and web programmer from Solapur. He has been using WordPress for the last 2 years. Apart from building small business websites using WordPress, he regularly conducts theme development workshops for beginners.
When he doesn’t build with WordPress, he shifts his attention to building Android apps and is quite good at it. In fact, he was the winner of the Samsung Appsolute Challenge in 2012.
Jitesh doesn’t just write and teach code. He loves to read, loves to eat and sometimes likes to cook. He’s also an active Rotarian and enjoys organising youth programs.

Shilpa Shah
Shilpa joined the WordPress party a little late but has been completely enamoured by the WordPress community sincethen. She co-founded Hummingbird Web Solutions in 2011 which nurtures a number of popular WordPress products ( SlideDeck, CyberChimps , WPeka Club, WPAuctionSoftware and SurveyFunnel).
She was bitten by the travel bug pretty early on and was lucky enough to have a job (in her earlier corporate avatar) that took her to various countries, meeting some truly wonderful people everywhere!
She enjoys dancing in the rain, trekking, camping in the wild. She has also been learning to play the guitar for 5 years now — hopes to play an entire song properly some day. Soon.
Priyanka Goyal
Priyanka is a web developer with a special interest in WordPress. She has been using WordPress for developing websites for clients for about 2 years now and loves to explore the possibilities of WordPress.
She likes to extend features of existing plugins to match her clients’ needs. She’s developed her plugin and theme development skills this way. The WP_Query class is her favorite of everything that is WordPress. She’s looking to develop a plugin for easier Contact and Enquiry management in the near future.

Topher DeRosia
His full name is Christopher DeRosia; Topher comes from the second half of Christopher. He started building web sites with plain html on a VAX VMS system in 1994 but switched to PHP/FI when it came out. He was using plain PHP/MySQL until 2010 when WordPress 3.0 came out with Custom Post Types. Since then, he hasn’t really built with anything else. He’s been a freelancer, the CTO of a Startup, a super hero with X-Team, and now documents Easy Digital Downloads.
He’s married, has 2 teen daughters and two cute little dogs. He lives in the small city of Grand Rapids MI, where it rarely gets above 30C, but occasionally gets below -30C. It’s a very snowy world in the winter.

Puneet Sahalot
Puneet’s first encounter with WordPress was when he started blogging at a then popular social media blog. Later he started with WordPress development, co-founded a city blog which received great response and became the most popular of all the local blogs.
After more than 5 years of freelancing, he now runs a web design and development agency where all their web projects are proudly powered by WordPress. In between, he tried hands at building and selling WordPress themes and WP maintenance services. These were fairly successful however their main success was in helping him lay a strong foundation for his agency.
Mahangu Weerasinghe
Hailing from Colombo, Sri Lanka, Mahangu first found WordPress when he stumbled upon 0.70 in the dark recesses of #wordpress on Freenode. He has used and provided support for every major release of the software, and is excited about the impact the platform can have on South Asia.
Though once a high school English teacher, his desire to make online publishing more democratic led him to Automattic, where he now works as a Happiness Engineer. He sincerely believes that stellar support will play a pivotal role in helping WordPress power the next 24% of the web!
Sagar Jadhav
Sagar Jadhav from Pune is a Product Head with rtCamp. He’s been building, websites, themes and theme-frameworks for six years now and is one of the best front-end developers around.
Looking at his body of work, it’d be hard to believe that Sagar started off as a Photoshop expert and today is a proud core contributor to WordPress 4.2. All because WordPress charmed him and he fell for it!

Arun Prabhudesai
Arun is an entrepreneur, blogger and internet addict. After a 12 year stint in the IT Industry across three continents, he came back to India to start on his own. His two startups have had mixed success.

Minesh Shah
Hailing from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Minesh is a passionate PHP developer. From 2008 to 2014 he grew very fond of the MVC architecture and worked extensively with CakePHP.
In 2014, he joined OnTheGoSystems and was introduced to WordPress. Along with the excitement of mastering a new platform, WordPress gave him a lot of joy. He continues feeling the same delight while working with the WPML and Toolset plugins at OnTheGoSystems.
Ankit Gade
Ankit started his professional career with open source technologies like PHP and MySQL. Before he could start anything else, he chanced upon WordPress and since then he fell in love with WordPress development.
He has authored a couple of plugins in the WordPress.org plugin repository. Of all his plugins, he’s especially proud of “Woocommerce simply order export” which is fairly popular among WooCommerce users. Ankit has been working with OnTheGoSystems since April 2015 and looks after WPML Support.
Harshad Mane
WordPress has been Harshad’s platform of choice for development for over seven years, now. He joined OnTheGoSystems (the makers of WPML, WCML, Views, Types, CRED and Layout) in December of 2011.
At work, Harshad writes code that helps other developers in making their own plugins or themes compatible with WPML and hopefully accumulates a lot of good karma in the process. When away from computer Harshad enjoys doing yoga, listening to music and thinking about going back to the computer! 🙂
Bigul Malayi
Bigul is from Kozhikode, Kerala. He started his career as a core PHP developer in 2005. In 2008 he came across WordPress and a year later, he was developing WordPress websites for clients. Since January of 2012 he’s been working as a QA Analyst with OnTheGoSystems.
Bigul credits WordPress as his bread and butter. To return the favour, he frequently speaks and educates users about multi-lingual websites and translating WordPress.
Sumit Singh
Sumit swings both ways in the WordPress ecosystem. He’s both a developer and a blogger who writes about technology, tips and tricks for smartphones, the internet, code and above all, WordPress.

Joe Guilmette
Originally from San Francisco, Joe is a Bangkok based WordPress developer. He spends about half the year on the road, often working with limited internet connectivity and a distributed team. Coding from airplanes, buses, boats, and cafes around the world, he quickly felt the need for a robust local/remote workflow.
Joe wears many hats, including project management, development, and lead customer support roles for Soflyy, running a small WordPress studio, and co-organising the WordPress Bangkok Meetup group. Gaurav Pareek
A Web developer, UI/UX hacker, Free Software activist, Doctor Who fan and all round geek. Gaurav discovered WordPress in 2009 and fell in love. Sudar Muthu
Sudar has been programming for more than a decade and is a polyglot. He has written production code in more than half a dozen programming languages – and most of it was using Vim!
Sudar first discovered WordPress in late 2005 while searching for a self hosted blogging platform for his migration away from Blogger. After tinkering with WordPress for his blog, he published his first WordPress plugin in late 2007 and has since continued to release more than 20 plugins with a total of nearly half a million downloads. Akshay Raje
Akshay discovered WordPress in 2008 and has been in love with it since then. He started moonlighting on small client projects and custom plugin development. He subsequently tried to bootstrap a WordPress services firm just to discover that services is not something that he wants to do for a living.
